Prototype Ri2H

Our Goal:

To simulate a condensed FIRST Tech Challenge season over the course of three hours and thus INSPIRE students to later follow interests in STEM fields, specifically engineering and computer science through various FIRST programs in upcoming seasons.

The Event:

The Prototype Ri2H event is a public competition run by FIRST Tech Challenge team 11306, Prototype G. This event is designed to encourage up-and-coming STEM ambassadors in middle and high school who are not yet a part of FIRST Tech Challenge or FIRST Robotics competition by immersing students into a condensed FIRST Tech Challenge season over the course of 2 hours.

Competitors will be broken into two teams, and each student will be allowed to choose their role(s) on the team (programmer, designer, builder, scribe, and presentation planner). The challenge will be released and teams will be given exactly two hours to solve the challenge to the best of their abilities with assistance from mentors (Prototype G members and their prestigious mentors). Teams will be judged on their ability to design, build, program, document, and present their robots.

Registration deadline:
